M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration

4 Semesters (2 years Program)

The M.Sc. Program run by NCHMCT has specific focus on the services sector as against majority of MBA programs which concentrate on merchandise and manufacturing businesses. Experimental components such as team project, mentorship under the guidance of industry specialists positions the M.Sc. scholar current with entire spectrum of hospitality and service industry.

Any candidate who has passed B.Sc. Degree inHospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU; OR Bachelor’s Degree inHotel Management from a recognized University and the Institute is approved by AICTEby securing 55% or more aggregate marks.

Who can apply?
Any student who has cleared 12th Standard or equivalent exam from any stream with English as a compulsory subject. THERE IS NO UPPER AGE LIMIT TO APPLY.

Admission process
Direct or Through M.Sc. JEE

Direct Admission:
Direct admission is provided to the candidates who are having two-years or moreworking experience in 3-star and above rated hotel industry (Industrial training which ispart of Degree not to be counted as working experience) after passing the B.Sc. Degree inHospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU; OR Bachelor’s Degree inHotel Management from a recognized University and the Institute is approved by AICTEby securing 55% or more aggregate marks. Such candidates are not required to appear inM.Sc. JEE 2023 for admission to the program.10% of seats in each Institute will be filled up under Direct Admission policy. Onlyeligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria indicated above will be considered forallotment of Institute based on their merit in the qualifying exam i.e. UG Degree.

Admission through M.Sc. JEE
Candidates having B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration fromNCHMCT-IGNOU; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from a recognizedUniversity and the Institute is approved by AICTE.
Candidates appearing in the final semester/final year exam (but passed all thepapers in all earlier semesters/years) of the above said Degrees and able to submittheir complete Bachelor’s Degree latest by 31st October 2023 can also apply.
There is no age bar to get admission in the M.Sc. HA Program.
